Mount Rainier is aroound Seattle, WA. For those who are familiar with it, the road to be Camp Muir Road, about 10 miles round trip, about 5000 feet, with the highest point to 10000ft. There is snow in the second half of the runway. To be done regularly day hiking boots? I have a pair of trekking poles with me too.
