Toaster oven is a fire hazard? Really? Veterans inspection says it is? - built in toaster oven
I live in an apartment that has a common kitchen. Since my arrival here in August 2008, there was a toaster oven on the counter. It seems very safe, there are a lot of space on the side and top.
Even after the surgery for 10 minutes or longer, the road to touch, just warm.
However, it is possible to move a veteran in the building, so that the organization of the veterans held an inspection of the building. They said that the toaster is a fire hazard and had to go.
Sun refused to my building manager. This aggravates me greatly, because it is frequently used as others here.
If this equipment does not constitute a fire hazard, why is it legal and is sold in specialty stores and no big warnings on them?
Do not even see how it could cause a fire. People think because the older models, as it was too hot or had broken parts? It seems to me impossible.
